Kibu is Going Into the Dragons' Den

We've been keeping a secret, and we're finally allowed to share it. This Thursday, 26th February, Kibu is appearing on BBC's Dragons' Den!

Our founder and CEO Sam Beaney will be stepping into the Den to share Kibu's story with some of the UK's most successful entrepreneurs. We're nervous, we're excited, and we can't quite believe it's happening.

From Kickstarter to National Television

It feels like quite a journey. What started as a Kickstarter campaign, built on the idea that maybe, just maybe, children's electronics could be made differently, has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined. Award wins, thousands of happy families, and now a chance to share our mission with millions of viewers.

Dragons' Den has been running for 23 series now, and it's helped launch some of the most recognisable products in the country. To have Kibu standing alongside that history is honestly a bit surreal.

What We're Fighting For

When Sam walks into the Den, he won't just be pitching a product. He'll be sharing a belief that's at the heart of everything we do:

"When a child builds something themselves, it changes how they feel about it. When they learn they can fix what they've made, it changes how they see everything they own."

That's the idea behind Kibu. Headphones that children can build, take apart, fix, and make their own. Technology that teaches rather than frustrates. Products designed to last, not to be thrown away.
