We have some exciting news to share. Kibu has been featured in The Independent's IndyBest roundup of the best kids' headphones, and named the best sustainable headphones for kids.

We are so proud. But what made us even happier was how they got there — by putting Kibu in the hands of a real nine-year-old and letting him get on with it.

What The Independent Found

The IndyBest team tried Kibu with a nine-year-old tester, and the results spoke for themselves. He followed the step-by-step video instructions and built his headphones almost entirely by himself in under 10 minutes — needing help from a parent only once, to attach the headband cushion.

The reviewer described it as capturing her son's imagination "like nothing else", and praised the build instructions as "so clear and well explained." She also called out the daisy-chain feature, which lets you connect multiple headphones together to share audio — perfect for long journeys or movie nights.
